Enroll My Student

Welcome to USD 264 Clearwater Schools! We are thrilled to have you join our vibrant learning community. Whether you are a returning student eager to embark on a new academic year or a new family excited to discover all that Clearwater has to offer, we are committed to providing a supportive and enriching educational experience for every student. Please select the option below that best suits your needs to begin the enrollment process. We look forward to partnering with you to ensure a successful and rewarding school year for your child.

  • Is your student already attending USD 264?

    • My student is currently in 2nd Grade in Clearwater and will enroll for 3rd Grade in Clearwater
       

     

    1. You will be contacted in the Spring via email by the school district notifying you that enrollment is open.
    2. Log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal account using the Clearwater PowerSchool Parent Sign-In Website

    3. You will select your child.

    4. Scroll down the Navigation bar on the left side of your screen and click on Forms.

    5. Start with #1 and work your way through – entering and editing information. Each form has a submit button at the bottom. 

    6. Complete your enrollment and click submit.

    7. Repeat the process for each student.

    8. Fees can be paid during this enrollment period. Payment may be submitted electronically through your e~Funds account or in person with cash/check in your student’s building office.

       

     

  • Is your student new to USD 264 and lives In-District?

    • We are moving into the Clearwater School District and need to enroll for 5th Grade

     


     

    1. Pre-Register | Use THIS PRE-REGISTRATION LINK to begin the process. You will provide a few pieces of information about your child and then you will hear back from the school.

      WAIT TO HEAR FROM THE SCHOOL WITH DIRECTIONS BEFORE PROCEEDING TO STEP 2.
    2. Create a Parent Portal account in PowerSchool using information supplied by the school. Here is a step-by-step instruction sheet.
    3. Log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal account using the Clearwater PowerSchool Parent Sign-In Website

    4. You will select your child.

    5. Scroll down the Navigation bar on the left side of your screen and click on Forms.

    6. Start with #1 and work your way through – entering and editing information. Each form has a submit button at the bottom. 

    7. Complete your enrollment and click submit.

    8. Repeat the process for each student.

    9. Fee payment information is provided at the end of the enrollment process.

  • Is your student returning to USD 264 after attending a different school and lives In-District?

    • My student attended Clearwater in 4th Grade, we moved away, and we are now back In-District and need to enroll for 8th Grade

  • Is your student new to USD 264 and lives Out-of-District?

    • My student currently lives and attends in another school district, but would like to enroll in Clearwater Schools
       

       
    1. Pre-Register | Use THIS PRE-REGISTRATION LINK to begin the process. You will provide a few pieces of information about your child.
    2. Complete the Non-Resident Student Application.
      1. Applications are due no later than June 15, 2025.
      2. For more information on capacity and the selection process, see Open Enrollment Capacity 2025-26.
      3. All questions about nonresident enrollment shall be directed to Jason Johnson, Superintendent at 620-584-2091 or jjohnson@usd264.org.

  • Go to the Enrollment Homepage, select the situation that best applies to you, follow the directions.

    • Current USD 264 Student
    • NEW In-District Student
    • Previously Attended USD 264 Student
    • NEW Out-of-District Student

  • Enrollment is required for:

    • Current Students: Students already attending USD 264 must complete annual re-enrollment.

    • New In-District Students: Students who have recently moved into the district.

    • Returning In-District Students: Students who previously attended USD 264, left, and are now returning.

    • New Out-of-District Students: Students residing outside district boundaries seeking admission.

  • Ensure you have the following documents:

    • State-issued birth certificate.

    • Proof of required immunizations.

    • Health assessment conducted by a physician within the past 12 months.

    These documents are necessary prior to the first day of school.

  • Yes.

    • Enrollment fees are not collected during the initial enrollment period.

    • The fee payment period begins in July.

    • Clearwater Elementary West: 7:50 AM – 3:00 PM

    • Pre-K Program: Morning session: 7:50 – 10:50 AM.; Afternoon session: 11:40 AM. – 3:00 PM.; Tuesday – Friday.

    • Clearwater Intermediate Middle School: 7:55 AM – 3:05 PM

    • Clearwater High School: 7:50 AM – 3:10 PM

    • Designed for children aged 3–5, focusing on early childhood education.

    • Priority enrollment for students with identified risk factors.

    • Monthly fee: $110 (subject to change); reduced fees available for qualifying families.

    • Program includes activities in literacy, math, motor skills, and social development.
