CIMS KAYS Care Packages to Soldiers

In October the Clearwater Intermediate-Middle School KAYS Organization led a Care Package Drive. Each grade participated in collecting items. The care packages were then mailed in November. Items were collected for the 1st Battalion, 179th Infantry Regiment- Task Force Tomahawk which are stationed in the Horn of Africa at Camp Lemonnier Djibouti. Task Force Tomahawk consists of approximately 150 soldiers. The Combined Joint Task Force consists of 1,000+ soldiers. Recently, CIMS received a thank you letter along with a picture of the Troops and the flag that was flown over Baledogle Military Airfield, in Somalia, along with a certificate for flying the flag. These items are displayed in the CIMS front office. CIMS KAYS wants to extend their gratitude to all the families in Clearwater who donated items. Thank you for all your support at CIMS!
