Mrs. Lukert is going to Washington

After a long selection process, Mrs. Lukert, 4th Grade Teacher at the Clearwater Intermediate-Middle School, has been chosen to attend the White House History Teacher Institute.

This July Lukert will travel to Washington D.C. to join 29 other teachers from the United States for a week-long training in all-things White House. According to the website, teachers “will discover a wider history of the iconic bulding and explore how you will use these stories to enhance your classroom.”
