Dedicated to Uncommon Principles

Posted Date: 01/20/2023

CHS Juniors Jada Childs and Ella Berntsen invited a special guest to speak at the high school this week.

As part of the girl’s FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) project advocating for mental health awareness, Coach Potter and his wife shared their personal story and talked about the stigma that still surrounds asking for help.

The Potter’s organization is called d2UP and more information can be found here → https://www.d2up.org/

Next week during Tribe Time, CHS students will spend some time discussing the message. They also appeared on the CHS Podcast → https://open.spotify.com/show/2XA31JjlSyy3Z8WXW8f6OG

Ask your high school student: When you know someone is struggling, what is the only wrong answer?
