Book Donation in Honor of Mrs. Kelly Mize

Books were donated to the Elementary West Library today in honor of Mrs. Kelly Mize. Mrs. Mize’s daughter, Erica Allen, is the library aide there. 

You may know Mrs. Mize from her recent time as Senior Language Arts teacher at Clearwater High School, but her early teaching was in 3rd Grade at Elementary West. 

“She loved to read and she instilled that love in her students,” said Patty Scheer. “It’s our hope that these books will inspire young readers.”

Scheer helped organize the book donation with money and books given by Mrs. Mize’s friends and former education co-workers.
