About Clearwater

The Clearwater school system serves a community with a population of approximately 4,500.  The city of Clearwater is located fifteen miles southwest of Wichita and has a population of 2,300.  It is the only town located within the school district's boundaries.

Recreational and learning opportunities include baseball, softball, soccer, golf, swimming, wellness center, library, fishing, hunting, and a wide variety of activities provided by the recreation commission for both youth and adults.   Eight churches in the district provide religious opportunities in most major denominations. 

The close proximity to Wichita makes it easy to take advantage of its cultural and recreational facilities and programs.  Friends University, Newman University, and Wichita State University provide educational opportunities within easy driving distance.
